Stanley Fish's "Power of Passive Campaigning" in the New York Times.
Tip of the hat to Doug Howard.
Devoted to media matters, politics, poetry, creativity, the evolution of consciousness, and autobiographical reflections, "The Laverytory" is the blog of David Lavery, literature, film, and television scholar/critic, now teaching at Middle Tennessee State University.

It's so sad to see good minds pontificate on topics where they are so ill-informed, and betray such shocking naivete.
Fish swallows whole the media narratives, and questions not at all the most crucial role they play in enabling not just the image of Obama as calm, cool, and running a clean campaign.
All this, to say the least.
