"Arrested Development"

After a great deal of nudging (from both of my daughters--among others), I am finally getting caught up with Arrested Development (almost finished with Season Two).


It is indeed as hilarious as everyone (everyone who was actually watching it) said. Witty, irreverant, ribald, it is a complete delight. Especially impressive is the great ensemble cast.

My favorite character is Buster (Tony Hale). But Tobias Fünke (David Cross) is a close second. His tendency toward obscene non-sequiturs is always hilarious. His exclamation that

Ooh, I can taste those meaty, leading man parts in my mouth!

for example, or his insistence that he is the first accredited analyst & therapist, or "analrapist." You gotta love that.
