I have only now gotten caught up with the last three episodes of Big Love Season Three, which is quickly becoming a new obsession (after watching it, interested, from the beginning).
If there was an Emmy for "Scene of the Year," it would go hands-down to the ending of "Fight or Flight," in which the despicable Roman Grant attempts to force Kathy Marquart to marry the übercreepy Hollis Green. The encounter in the barn, Green's pitch-forked (by a fleeing Kathy) wife, the truck chase, Kathy's death-by-braids end: an astonishing few moments, deserving its own wing in the Television Grotesque Hall of Fame.
