SC4 Program

As someone who is particularly interested in Buffy's place in the television industry of the time (changing industrial forms, modes of dispersal, encouragement of fandoms etc), I find it quite interesting that the conference seems to be almost entirely focused on the textual study - would you say that is just the way that Slayage tends to be, or is that just the way this year's conference happens to be? (I'm hoping that by next year I might be in a position to present a paper, but it would have a slightly different focus than any I see there).
