"Be careful with rocks"
These two small rocks from poolside became Addy's prized possession when she and her mom came over to swim this morning.
Later, while playing on her favorite super-soft brown rug, she accidentally hit herself in the mouth with the rocks. She cried briefly and asked for a hug and then a kiss from grandpa, who gave them with all my love (and a tear of my own).
Later, she walked down the hall back to her mom talking to herself as she so often does when striving to memorize life's lessons. "Be careful with rocks," she said emphatically. "Be careful with rocks."
